It seems everyone around the site is just whining. I’m no exception, I’ll give you that. What I won’t give you is absolution. What reason has a bunch of obviously very talented writers have to whine if they are being rewarded? None, right? Where’s the reward? Nowhere. Whose fault? Yours. Read on if you don’t get it.
It’s basically very simple:
- Someone establishes a great website, such as QuantumBones
- People write just brilliant articles for the site
- Other people read the articles and spread the word
- Big multinational companies get interested in the site
- The companies pay Big Money to advertise on the site
- The owners of the site get stinking rich
- A bit of the wealth trickles to the writers
- Everyone is satisfied – or at least content enough with their lot not to whine for fear of losing their spot.
Not very hard to follow, was it? Well then – when are you going to start spreading the word so that we will all get rich? What right do you have to ignore our plight? The world would be a far better place without selfish people, I tell you that.
