Rather than delving on the less enticing side of life – death, in fact – we often take up lighter issues in conversation. Weather. Politics. Money. Heartbreak. Divorce. Betrayal. Murder! How does it always come to this? Read and be amazed at how little we know!
Society at large is a phenomenon unto itself. Despite that, it cannot be separated from humanity any more than wheels can be separated from a car. To be more exact, both can be done – but with hugely detrimental results. This has been experienced by most of us in one form or another.
Perception of reality differs from one person to another. Someone else – besides these two we just mentioned – might still have different ways of perceiving what we call reality. Let’s face it, though: television has changed all that. And computers have changed the way we watch television, but not as fundamentally as television has. It doesn’t end here, however.
Telephones have changed the way we watch computers. Then, it may come as no surprise to you – computers have changed the way we talk. Soon we won’t be able to talk without computers at all, because the distance between one person and the next keeps growing exponentially. But even this is only the beginning!
Physicists (and similar types of the genus homo sapiens) have come up with methods of actually proving without a shade of doubt that the University keeps on growing larger and larger. Soon it can no longer be avoided anywhere. So grab your hat, professor! We are in for a walk – or out. The choice is yours.
