Recently, we have heard literally thousands of stories revolving around the mysterious disappearance of Dan Splottel and his fiancée Francesca Mutual. By “we”, I naturally mean us, the good people of QuantumBones. You, the reader, have probably heard nothing. Prepare to be prepared! We have things to tell you.
Dan Splottel, the infamous perpetrator of the so-called Gold Raid of the Ardennes, has been missing for several months now. Where was he in the first place? Why, in prison, of course. He just sat there, counting the days of his remaining twenty years in utter misery. Until things changed for the better for him – and for the worse for the society at large. What happened? We don’t know.
The reasons for our comparable ignorance regarding Splottel’s disappearance are, naturally enough, linked to the fact that we have had no ways of investigating the matter. We have no informers among the inmates of the prison – we don’t even know which prison it was – and all our acquaintances among the police force of we-don’t-know-which-country are equally sparse. This is a given. But it is a taken, too.
There is a huge amount of information we would like to have about Dan Splottel. The truth is: we have no way of acquiring it. Rest assured we will not let matters lie until this changes.
