This spring, a rush of ideas has almost swamped us. This is no different from the previous spring, but back then we had no website and thus had no way of telling you this. What kind of ideas? Several. Read on to see how we go around them in a most excruciatingly intelligent way.
Intelligence. The least understood commodity in the modern world. Why? Because only an intelligent person can understand another intelligent person, and even then there may be some glitches in their mutual perception – and neither of them understands anything after all. Is there any way to circumvent this problem? We think there might be.
There should be a panel of intelligent people somewhere. It would be the task of this panel to make certain that intelligence really is understood – but the panel should first make certain that their own perception of intelligence doesn’t clash with what it actually is. This requires another panel whose task would be to check the first panel’s perception.
Before giving any real tasks to the panels we should first make sure that we understand how to perceive intelligence. This requires a panel of even more intelligent people. We could call this the Master Panel. I know what you are thinking now: if there are people with really superior intelligence, they will certainly stay out of that panel. Maybe so. To find out about that, we should first find out about intelligence, however. And that’s where the Master Panel comes into play.
