Bailing out – again!?

Our chief editor has never been able to inspire any kind of discipline or sense of unity among the staff. He should be fired, I think, but apparently I’m in the minority.

Lately, the morale of our staff has been plummeting. The chief editor is at odds with everyone; everyone else is at odds with each other – and what’s more, even I, the only talented one among the rabble, am beginning to feel a bit uncertain of our once-decent website. Read on for a deeper analysis!

In the past few days, the site has been flooded with articles that just seem to trail off; the writer bailing out with a sentence or two when he or she runs out of things to say. Also articles with no clear direction have been seeping in among the better ones.

Nowadays, when at least half of the most important roads no longer lead to Rome, many things are possible. Technological advances have made websites feasible. A few decades ago, a site such as this one would have been impossible to create and even hard to imagine. Which magazine would have printed these articles?

I feel kind of sad to read the latest of our site. Many writers, full of optimism only a few days ago, have now completely lost hope. Who is to blame? Not I, that’s for certain. I have always managed to create important and interesting articles. The rest should take a lesson from me.
