Not everything is clear about symbolic revenge. Many aspects of it are entangled within the psyche of the perpetrator, his wife, or his children. Sometimes even his dog is involved. Dogs are otherwise cuddly but this might change the picture a bit. Read how, who, and why.
Archnemesis. How often we want to forget about the word and all it entails. How often we forget other things we should be remembering. These two aspects of memory aren’t as separate as might seem. There is a hidden deep connection, found out about by professor Curly Morton as early as 1972.
1972 was a metal year for professor Morton. His advisor’s column in the newspaper Daily Psychology in the Ardennes was bringing him cash way over his expectations. Way over. Sadly for him, all this was just about to change due to his excavations of the darker side of the human psyche.
12.5.1972 was a silver day for Curly Morton, the Professor of applied psychology. He had just published his groundbreaking treatise on the ties between families in distress over several issues. He was walking towards his home in the Ardennes when he saw a bird drop dead right in front of him. He was just about to chalk it down to the heat – it was well over 80 degrees Celsius – when another dead bird struck him. This time it definitely was the heat. Morton took out his notepad and began writing. History was about to be made.
Thinking back, Professor Morton really cannot emphasize the event more than is just and necessary. Is it his easygoing manner or his mannerisms that give him such an aloof personality – at least on the outside? Time will tell. I for one would not take any chances with Curly Morton.
